    Personal Intro and Invitation
Hi, I'm Jeff Cooper, a professional educator for 20 years. Kim's presentation on 21st Century learning echoes my own sentiments and personal pedagogy:
    Facilitation-- Validation-- Motivation-- Collaboration
I volunteer on Helpdesk at Tapped In, a professional educators' collaborative and learning hub: http://www.tappedin.org
We have over 500 professional development groups, university and K-12 classrooms and I encourage you all to join; membership is free.

You may view the Calendar of Events at http://snurl.com/ticalendar
Today (May 4th) there is a Learning Hub Tips & Tricks VFT of Tapped In at 2:30pm Pacific followed by Math Resources at 4 and Science Resources at 5.

Educators may join unlimited groups there, have their own virtual office as well as up to two groups (either for professional development or K-12 classroom). I give tours and support of the K-12 Campus on Saturday (this week is one hour at 11am, next week will be a two hour collaboration special).

I believe that teachers should create their own virtual classrooms and collaborate locally and internationally. Imagine a dozen classrooms with hundreds of students learning each other's languages (good for ESL students) or responding to each other's AP English papers. The possibilities are limitless and means more engaged students and actually less work for teachers (since lessons will be built and shared with peers and students).

I look forward to learning more from all of you through this wiki, and of course, Tapped In!
